Malanka folk holiday in Krasnoilsk

Romanian community from Krasnoyarsk celebrate on 13th January a folk holiday "Malanka", which is New Year's Eve in accordance with the Julian calendar. On this night in Ukraine, carolers traditionally went from house to house playing pranks or acting.
